EAC (Eurasian Economic Union), which examines the procedures regulating the relations between products/manufacturers and consumers in the Russian Federation, is a document that facilitates the passage of products in accordance with the specified procedures in customs clearance procedures. Companies exporting products to Russian markets are obliged to carry out their production within the framework of the determined procedures.
In 1992, the government of the Russian Federation passed a law to “protect consumer rights” and stipulated that certain products must be produced in accordance with certain standards in order to enter the country’s markets. It carried out a constantly renewed procedure under the headings of “Quality and quality standards” regarding public health and pidemiological safety. The Federal Law on “Technical Regulation” of 27.12.2002 was adopted and a strict ban was imposed on the product of companies that do not hold a certificate.
